Vpon values corporate social responsibility that we aim to spread love and build a caring society. Hong Kong Vponers participated in a volunteer work for a local NGO, the Food Angel, on December 21. Food Angel is a program with the mission to reduce food wastage and utilize the rescued edible food surplus to prepare meals for the underprivileged in Hong Kong.
On event day, our colleagues gathered in the central kitchen of Food Angel in Sham Shui Po and assisted in the preparation of meal boxes. We had also involved in non-cooking duties such as preparing raw vegetables and filling up hot meal boxes. We are very grateful for this opportunity to give back to the community through this meaningful volunteer experience.
