Vpon Hong Kong has brought home a Bronze award for “Best Idea – Mobile” category for Gillette’s “Fusion ProGlide” Campaign at the MARKies Awards hosted on April 22nd, 2016 at The Mira Hong Kong. The MARKies Awards recognizes the most innovative, creative and effective campaigns or projects spanning Hong Kong’s entire marketing services industry.
The “Best Idea – Mobile” award was evaluated by its creativity, effectiveness and media execution of leveraging the capabilities of a mobile device in achieving a positive marketing outcome. Vpon adapts HTML 5 motion sensing technology in interstitial ad to create a razor that glides simultaneously with the movement of the mobile device in order to simulate the smooth shaving experience. The engagement rate of this advertisement is 1.8 times higher than that of banner ads. Vpon helped P&G reach its target audience and successfully enhanced Gillette’s image as a leading brand.
Arthur Chan, General Manager at Vpon Hong Kong commented on the Bronze award: “We are honored to be recognized for the work we’ve made for our clients in terms of creativity and performance. The continuous recognitions for this campaign in the past few months prove our strong capability of delivering excellent creativity as well as target media execution. We have confidence to win even more awards in the future.”
